Balwaadi is the closest unit run by a single teacher that works within the local community. It is run by an individual catering to 30-35 students everyday where Vedic/moral values are inculcated in young minds along with the basic education.

Here is how the process works:

1. Identification of the Balwaadi centre with the help of our regional centre and local representatives.

2. Engaging the trainer/teachers for the Balwaadi centre.

3. Training of the identified teachers/trainers with the prescribed curriculum.

4. Balwaadi comes to operation after the successful training and formation of group of children.

The prospective sponsors may contribute an amount of Rupees 4 lacs per year for a minimum period of three years to support 10 Balwaadis. For foreign sponsors an amount of USD 5,000 per year for a minimum of three years is suggested to establish ten Balwaadis.  Our goal is to establish 200 such Balwaadis during commemoration of the 200th years of Swami Dayanand Saraswati.

• The commitment for this support will be minimum for three years.

• The Balwaadi centre will be named after the donor or their designated name as per the Donors’ wish.

• The amount of sponsorship will be directly disbursed for Balwaadi operation in India.

• The name of the donors will be on the website under the Balwaadi project.

• Regular receipts will be issued to the donors.
