VIDYA DAAN KUND

Based on a few donors’ interest in providing smaller annual contributions instead of a full endowment under the Arya Pragati program, the Executive Committee of Arya Pragati USA has decided to implement the following:

• Create a pool of small donations and call it Vidya Daan Kund (VDK);

• Expected minimum contribution to this pool will be 10 scholarships @ USD 5000 or INR 4 lacs per year;

• The commitment will be for at least for a period of 5 years;

• Such funds will be directly disbursed for scholarships every year;

• The name of these scholarships will be in individual donor names listed under VDK;

• The participants will be acknowledged in a list of VDK donors on the Arya Pragati website; and

• Regular receipts will be issued to the donors for tax purposes.
